Water Drying and Dehumidification Process

Drying and Dehumidification Process
While the initial water extraction process is thorough and effective, it does not deal with water in porous places like drywall and the wood structure. Because these places tend to retain water well after the water removal stage, they can later warp swell, rot, or break down resulting in significant structural damage. This “hidden” moisture is also responsible for mold growth which itself poses considerable health risks.
After the water extraction step, we then embark on the second and equally critical step: drying and dehumidification.
Drying and Dehumidification
Air Quality Express uses specialized equipment including industrial air movers and dehumidifiers, to remove excess water retained by building materials and other hard-to-access places. Our highly-knowledgeable technicians carefully track the progress of the entire process using moisture meters until the materials return to acceptable drying goals. We rely on:
Advanced dehumidification equipment
Monitoring Equipment to gauge progress
